I have studied English Language and Literature at Kingston University UK, Following a Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Portsmouth University UK.
After the completion of my studies, I had a gap year travelling around Greece. After the completion of my Military Service in 2004, and a year later, in 2005, I joined forces with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its division related with Life long Education, known as the EKDD, as well as with the Hellenic Navy where I was appointed the position of the English Language instructor, for both organizations, teaching young Cadet Petty Officers general English courses, helping students to develop their language skills as well as a specialized English terminology for their specialties.
Furthermore, being a passionate advocate for bridging the gap between business and education, I emphasize on the creative use of technology and social media to advance learning in and out of the classroom. Collaboration is the key to really getting your message across well. Thus I have started a long-lasting cooperation with the Ministry of Education and a special department responsible for adult education (also known as KDVM) helping people connect and make an impact.
Finally, I spend time with students, mentoring and advising those, who are looking for a vacancy abroad or a place in a university. (Μόνιμος καθηγητής αγγλικών στο ΥΠΕΘΑ)
